On the Road with Little River Band ̵...

As the crowd rolls in to the Foellinger Theater, the first thing I notice is the average age. This is a mature crowd. Not old, seasoned. These are people that probably listened to LRB whole in their twenties. Though the bulk of these fans are in their fifties and even sixties, there’s also children aged 10 and young adults, early twenties and thirties everywhere. This mix of ages tells me something about Little River Band – their music is timeless, and has effected people from thirty ears ago, along with those I’m their teens who will be effected by...

On the Road with Little River Band ̵...

Anyone who grew up in the late 70′s, early 80′s, will surely remember swaying to a slow dance or two to songs sung by The Little River Band. Songs like Reminiscing, Night Owl, We Too and so many more. Pop radio was flooded by their hits, and for many, LRB songs were the background music to their first kiss. A good friend of mine named Rich Herring has been playing guitar for LRB foray years now, and invited me to take a bus trip to Evansville Indiana with he and LRB on June 21. Right now, listening to LRB’s sound check is bringing back many high school...

The Music City – The Hip’est Place to Live! Nashville, aka: “The Music City”, has become a diverse and exciting place to live over the past 26 years. But, as the country music industry exploded and culture blended in with Nashville’s already “cool” vibe, the Music City quickly became one of the coolest places to live in the United States. Recently, Forbes Magazine noted that Nashville is “one of the hip’est places to...
